Jaime Matos
Jaime Matos has been a resident of Kissimmee for more than 20 years and have served the community in many areas such as civic education, elderly services, and youth awareness. He is a former member of the Kissimmee Historical Preservation Board and is currently serving in the Kissimmee Police Pension Plan Board since 2009, and the Osceola County Parks and Recreation Committee since 2008.
Matos has a BS degree and now works as a Private Investigator. His experience includes 16 years of service in the Municipal Government of Orange County, Florida, where he had the privilege to work in different departments such as Engineering, Stormwater, Public Utilities, and Roads and Drainage, and acquired a hands-on experience on day-to-day operation of municipal government.
Jaime Matos believes a government should put the people first and he will promote the preservation and creation of jobs in our city. Downturn of the economy has forced many local businesses to close their doors. Consequently, jobs have been lost and families have been put through difficult times trying to make ends meet. It is Matos opinion that our City should be more competitive to attract more business (and their jobs) to our community.
Please elect Jaime Matos for Kissimmee City Commissioner Seat 3. Election day is August 14, 2012.
