On August 27, 2006, the Board of Directors of the United Dominicans of Kissimmee took their first oath. United Dominicans of Kissimmee is a non-profit organization promoting values and culture of the Dominican Republic among the community in Kissimmee.

 dancing group of "International Culture" Candidate for City Commissioner, Jaime Matos, is a supporter of art and culture in Kissimmee. Members of this folkloric group come from all Latin American countries as well as the USA. They dance to all Afro-Antillean rhythms.
